Job Summary:

The Senior Manager position is a highly visible position that is an integral part of the RAI Services Company Finance team with tremendous career growth opportunities.


This position serves as a liaison between Finance, Trade Marketing and Senior Leadership and it plays an integral part in the Finance function working proactively to understand business requirements, market conditions, and demand patterns.


Their role also plays an integral part in supporting our strategic pricing and commercial decisions, impacting performance and profitability. Responsibilities include Competitive Benchmarking, P&L forecasting, Business Partnering across multiple functions, and leading a team of two direct reports.


The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to articulate financial strategy, results and forecasts to Senior Leadership. In addition, they will possess a sense of ownership for building financial models, as well as a track record for identifying key business questions and building analyses to answer those questions in an ambiguous environment.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Building financial models and P&Ls for Competitive Benchmarking and Trade Marketing Services
  • Identify business levers and recommendations that drive the P&L
  • Develop business/operational metrics to provide key guidance to the organization
  • Utilize valid assumptions and sensitivities required to communicate potential variability to leadership
  • Works closely with Trade Marketing to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Presents and communicates to Leadership the forecasts, performance, and potential risks/opportunities of financial performance


Job Requirements:


Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related area required or related business experience. MBA preferred


Strong knowledge of finance/analytics with at least 5 or more years of experience in Financial Analysis/Modeling or related analytical field required.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of SAP or related financial system
  • Working knowledge of Micro Strategy or related system
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates an understanding of consumers, customers, opportunities and risks to drive business growth
  • Ability to learn quickly and to be flexible, while aiming to drive change and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to think strategically, assess risk, recommend solutions and clearly articulate a recommendation
  • Collaborates with Business Partners, with an ability to influence commercial decisions
  • Exceptional integrity and credibility; operating at the highest level of ethical standards and business acumen in order to gain the confidence and trust of business partners
  • Experience working in a team environment and developing/coaching future leaders
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
