The Lead HCM Manager will support the Payroll team by leading resolution of technical issues, implementing changes and maintenance of the SAP Payroll / EC Payroll (Cloud) environments.  This individual will partner with internal and external resources to ensure proper payroll processing and problem resolution.  Additionally, this individual should exhibit credibility and knowledge in the payroll area as well as demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.



Essential Functions

  • Provide SAP Payroll / EC Payroll (Cloud) technical support and lead problem resolution
  • Lead the design, implementation and testing of configuration changes
  • Lead the implementation and testing of service packs, quarterly upgrades and other system updates
  • Support maintenance of tax tables and setup to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Work extensively with functions across the organization and external teams to ensure proper payroll processing  and problem resolution
  • Support bi-weekly, monthly and special payroll processing to ensure payroll deadlines are met
  • Run ad hoc reports to extract payroll data as needed
  • Drive priorities and lead projects to meet deadlines
  • Maintain accurate and sufficient testing documentation  
  • Safeguard and ensure confidentiality of HR and payroll data



    Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience



  • Experience with SAP Payroll / EC Payroll (Cloud) / SuccessFactors is required
  • Experience with testing and problem solving within the SAP Payroll / EC Payroll system preferred
  • At least two years of experience in corporate payroll environment required
  • Payroll knowledge required; tax knowledge preferred
  • Payroll certification preferred (FPC or CPP)
  • Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Excel, Outlook, and Word)
