This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.


Lead Financial Analyst

The lead financial analyst is a highly visible position that is an integral part of the RAISC Operating Company Finance team with career growth opportunities. This position provides accounting support to cross functional areas and the finance management team.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the monthly general ledger closing process which may include performance of system-related activities and controls utilizing SAP. 

  • Responsible for various monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses and various monthly journal entries. 

  • Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls. Responsible for controls testing to comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. 

  • Partner with other corporate functions, such as Tax and Treasury. Assist with special projects as needed.  

  • No direct or indirect reports.


Position Qualifications



  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related area required or related business experience 4 or more years of experience in Accounting


Strongly Preferred: 

  • MBA, CPA, or MAC preferred 

  • Solid written and verbal communications skills 

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Knowledge of ERP systems
