Financial Analyst II

 

The Financial Analyst II is a highly visible position that is an integral part of the RAISC Finance team with tremendous career growth opportunities. This position provides analytical support to cross functional areas and the finance management team.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • This position will be responsible for various monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses, various monthly journal entries, and various quarterly consolidated balance sheet and income statement analyses.
  • This position may be responsible for performance of various internal controls related to external reporting data, and SOX testing.
  • Additionally, duties for this position include maintenance of the SAP fixed asset data base for the processing of asset disposals, transfers, and the accuracy of master data.
  • No direct or indirect reports

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

 

Experience:

5 or more years of experience in Accounting

 

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; must possess an ability to make quick decisions and use good judgment.
  • Must possess a high sense of urgency and work ethic.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, with the expectation of working as a motivated and cooperative team member.
  • Must be detail oriented, reliable, and financially responsible.
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrated excellent PC skills and detailed knowledge of MS Office including Microsoft Excel.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • •Masters of Accounting degree
  • •CPA or CPA candidate
  • •Knowledge of ERP systems (specifically SAP
