Job Summary:

The Lead Manager Learning and Development will design and develop adult learning interventions, facilitate classroom training, and provide learning and development support to human resource business partners and functional leadership teams across the enterprise.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Classroom facilitation of corporate curriculum with a focus on professional skill development.
  • Design, develops and implements training solutions that meet business needs which may include instructor led trainings, virtual classrooms, webcasts, and elearnings.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and communicates value/impact to meet cross functional objectives.
  • Leads projects delivering business benefits on time, within scope and within budget utilizing project management discipline.  These projects may include vendors as well as cross functional employee groups. 
  • Develop and deliver training solutions that meet business needs 
  • Leads the LMS analyst team in the the identification, development, testing and implementation of new learning methodologies and functions to accomplish goals.
  • Leverages internal and external networks of peers and cross-functional relationships to build credibility to drive strategy and to influence and manage change.
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training 
  • Identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments 



Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline


  • Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience

Required Skills:

  • Experience leading and facilitating training programs, team strategy and/or team building sessions
  • Awareness of established and emerging learning and development technologies
  • A proven track record of training program development
  • Experience managing a catalog of learning development offerings
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and leading teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills working with clients, vendors, external partners, and project team members
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen



Preferred Skills:

  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience in the development of computer based training solutions
  • Experience delivering training solutions for a sales organization and/or in a regulated environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMSHuman resources generalist experience
